Log4J is a Java based API used with Apache web servers. SuperSMITH does not use Java and does not use Log4J. SuperSMITH does not send/receive data on networks, but can open and save files on network drives. Your system may use Log4J to track usage, but the potential vulnerability is with your system, not SuperSMITH.

One of the issues with real world data is that there may be mixtures of failure modes, suppliers, or duty cycles. Consider an automotive manufacturer tracking tire warranty. Customers drive different amounts each month, on different roads, and have different road hazards.
